# How do customers receive and use access codes or access links?

### **Access Codes**

Depending on the door lock device you have installed, the access codes will be generated instantly and included in the following correspondence:

-   Booking confirmation email (if a customer makes a booking through your booking page)  
    ​
    
    -   Access codes will not be included in the booking confirmation emails for Salto devices  
        ​
        
-   Booking reminder emails (this email is sent 24 hours prior to the booking start time)  
    ​
    
-   It will be available in the customer's Swift account under the Activity tab. You can direct your customers to this link: [https://book.runswiftapp.com/account/activity](https://book.runswiftapp.com/account/activity)
    

### **Access Links**

Depending on the door lock device you have installed, the access links will be generated instantly and included in the following correspondence:

The code will only be revealed 5 minutes prior to the booking start time, and it will not be included in the booking confirmation or reminder emails.
