# Changing staff profile email address

Staff email addresses can be changed by the Owner in Admin, or it can be updated by the staff member themselves through their own account.

**⚠️ Important**: Staff cannot also have a Customer profile at your facility using the same email address. **They must create each profile type using a different email address.**

# **Steps for Staff to change their email address**

1.  The staff member must log in to [Swift Admin](https://admin.runswiftapp.com/) using their existing, current Swift credentials.  
    ​
    
2.  Go to **Settings > Account**.  
    ​
    
3.  On the Profile page, click the **Change** button next to the Email field.  
    ​
    
4.  Input the new email address  
    ​
    
5.  Click **'Continue'** to proceed  
    ​
    
6.  A verification code will be sent to the new email address inbox. Enter the code to complete the email change process.  
    ​
    
7.  Once the account has been changed to the new email address, the staff member will log into Swift Admin using the new email address.

# **Steps to change a Staff email address as an Owner or Admin:**

1.  In Admin, go to [Settings > Staff](https://admin.runswiftapp.com/settings/staff)  
    ​
    
2.  Select the staff member's profile  
    ​
    
3.  On the Edit Staff page, click the **Change Email** button next to the Email field.  
    ​
    
4.  Input the new email address  
    ​
    
5.  Click **Update Email** to save and proceed  
    ​
    
6.  Once the account has been changed to the new email address, the staff member will log into Swift Admin using the new email address.
