Automations

Manage automated booking notifications sent to your customers

The Automations page allows you to manage the automatic notifications that Swift sends to customers regarding their bookings.

Currently, this includes two types of notifications:

  1. Booking Confirmations - sent as soon as a booking has been created or a customer is added to a booking.

  2. Booking Reminders - a reminder notification that is sent 24 hours before the booking start time

Both types of notifications are sent via email and/or SMS text.

How to edit the Automated Emails

While it’s not possible for the facility to add or edit the template of the automated emails, it is possible to add custom text which will be displayed within the emails.

  1. In Swift Admin, go to Settings > Automations

  2. Click on the Edit (pencil) icon next to the notification

  3. In the Custom Text box, you can include any specific information you'd like displayed in the email notification. This is often used to add things like:

    1. Facility etiquette

    2. Door codes & entry + access instructions

    3. Additional context on location, or getting to the physical building

Disabling the automated notifications

You can also disable the automated emails/texts that are sent, by simply turning off the toggle on the right hand side of the card. This will prevent automated notifications from being sent to your customers.

To re-enable them, simply flip the toggle to ON again.
